 It's she beautiful? Hummmm, I wonder what's for dinner?! |
 Here's the lion Jeff saw a few feet down the road from the lioness. |
 Awesome. Most of the lions we saw have battle scars on their faces and bodies. This is Africa in all its raw and beauty! |
 A hippo giving birth. Too bad she does this under the water, because I would have loved to witness it! |
 A crocodile slipping back into the water before I could get a good picture of it. |
 Two Marabou storks. Its massive 35cm bill is used to pick over carrion and slay other animals, including birds as large as flamingos. |
 Three impala walking gingerly through the swamp. A Marabou stork and African spoonbill are in the background. |
 A great white egret. They hunt by posing completely still for long periods before striking. |
 A waterbuck. Their white markings on their faces always reminded me of Santa Claus! |
