 A herd of African buffalo as far as the eye can see. They can form herds of thousands. Both sexes have distinctive thick, up curving horns. |
 This African buffalo has a yellow-billed oxpecker on its back. These birds eat ticks off animals, and they also rip off mouthfuls of hair to build their nests with! Ouch! |
 A male ostrich. I love this picture because behind the ostrich is a warthog, and a Masai boma (village) can be seen in the far distance. Very cool! |
 A female ostrich. They are the world’s tallest living bird and contrary to popular belief, ostriches don't bury their heads in the sand. |
