Saturday, July 27, 1996. 7:00pm.

The Dinner and Dance was a semi-formal event held at the Captain Cook Hotel (5th and K Street, Anchorage). This event gave everyone a chance to meet spouses, significant others, or dates. There was a cash bar, a dj who got everyone up and dancing, and a great buffet which included a wonderful array of different food. Caroline Johengen (Bolls) hosted the after-dinner program. It included announcements, an introduction of the reunion committee (see REUNION COMMITTEE), she recognized teacher Pete Tryon for coming, handed out awards (see REUNION AWARDS), and had a slide show presentation.

Pictures were taken by a professional photographer, Linda Jackson Photography. Linda was our photography teacher in high school (Ms. Richmond)! She took the group photograph (see CLASS PHOTO) and the black-and-white photographs you see on this web page. Again, a special thanks to Giles Harrison for sending me his photographs that he took of this evening (the color photographs on this web page). Overall, the Dinner and Dance was a great success!
