"James passed away yesterday. He had cancer. He was diagnosed back in January with metastatic liver tumors but they could never find the primary source. The best guess is that it was pancreatic."

IN MAY 2002, JAMES HAD WROTE THIS ABOUT HIMSELF ON HIS PROFILE PAGE:

Biography (What Have You Been Doing Since HS?)
Gulf War Combat disabled Vet, Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice, Teaching, Coaching, and School! Currently for Dept. of Justice in Washington and coaching in my spare time. Next short term goal...Director of Probation and Parole. Wish me luck.

He wrote this in December 2008:
Currently working as Juvenile Detention and Probation Facility Supervisor for Dallas County. I also opened a new boat and jet ski rental business last summer called "Extreme Watercraft Rentals," and I am currently working on opening my own Primerica Financial Office called Courstyval Financial Services. I have been married to a special lady name Tali for 18 years, and we have a beautiful daughter named Kaylee -- although we have half a dozen ladies running around the house all the time so it seems like I have several kids.

When I Graduated from HS, I Wanted To Be (Occupation), Now I Am...
Law Enforcement, Teacher, or Game Warden....Guess I got two of them. Currently an officer with the DOJ for Washington.

Where Is Your Favorite Vacation Spot?
Anywhere I can play, especially Hong Kong, Rio, and India. I do miss the Kenai, though.

What Songs Make You Think of the "Good Ol' Days?"
Any Madonna song - "Like a Virgin." Just 80's music.

What Activities Were You Involved In (Clubs, Sports, Etc.) in HS?
Varsity Wrestling and Football.

Who Was Your Favorite Teacher and What Was Your Favorite Class Subject?
J. Wilson and Wolfey. History, biology, and PE of course.

What Are Your Best Memories of HS?
All of them, my friends.

What Was Your Most Embarrassing Moment in HS?
Losing the State Championship to a full nelson and my behavior afterwards.

What Is Something You Wanted To Do In HS But Never Did?
Date and go to dances, guess I should have laid off the sports so much. Looking back, there sure were a few classmates I wanted to get to know better, but was either too shy or busy to ask.
